STEP 2.4- STRETCH the TAPE ACROSS the SKIN: After attaching the tape to the skin, you can begin to stretch the tape across the desired muscle. The amount of stretch you use will depend on the type of treatment. For example, if you want to stimulate a muscle that is trying to perform, you should use 15% – 50% stretch. This will reduce muscle soreness and tension.

STEP 2.5- PEEL the BACKING from the TAPE in SMALL PIECES: This can be done by holding the tape in the middle and gently tearing and pulling the paper backing. If you remove all the backing at once, the tape may stick by itself and ruin the application. Avoid touching the adhesive. This can affect the adhesion of the tape and cause the tape to peel off from the skin.

STEP 2.6- ATTACH the TIP of the TAPE to the SKIN: The last 2-3 inches (5-7.5 cm) of tape should be attached to the skin without stretching the tape. Avoid sticking the tape to another piece of tape. This does not hold and may cause the ends to roll.

STEP 2.7- RUB the TAPE from the CENTER to the ENDS: Once the tape has been applied to the skin, you want to activate the tape and ensure that the skin does not peel off. Use your hands to rub the tape from the center to the ends. This will help the tape to adhere to the skin.

STEP 2.8- CUT the PEELİNG ENDS with SCİSSORS: If at some point the ends of the tape begin to peel off, you can easily cut the peel off using a pair of scissors. Press the remaining ends of the tape down so that no further peeling occurs.
