3 Reasons Of Feeling Worse After Kinesiology

You need to look at several sites to find out more and detailed information about kinesiology.

But in this post I will give you detailed information about kinesiology.

First of all, let’s learn what kinesiology is.

But in this post you will also find answers to such questions: What is kinesiology? What are kinesiology tapes good for? Who should use kinesiology tapes? What muscle conditions can kinesiology tapes be used for? Why do kinesiology tapes occur? Can I have a feeling worse after kinesiology? What is the reason of feeling worse after kinesiology? etc.

What is Kinesiology?

It is obvious by all of us that doing sports is as important as nutrition for our body and soul.

However, it is also difficult for the time allocated to sports in the busy city life and hustle and bustle to settle into a routine.

Those who practice it know; Especially when sports are interrupted and restarted, or muscle pains that occur after some intense and hard work make the exercises even more magnified.

Therefore, we are deprived of sports and even normal movements due to the pain in the muscle groups.

This is where kinesiology comes in.

Kinesiology; It means “control of energy flow in moving muscles”.

Muscles have a very important place in kinesiology.

With the help of various muscle movements, energy blockages in the body are revealed.

Kinesiology is a field of applied therapy that basically focuses on and examines the energy flow in the muscles.

Taking into account a wide area from muscle and body movements to the impact of our emotional world and beliefs on muscles, this branch also focuses on muscular reactions and the relationship between these reactions and sports.

Chiropractic (Greek: chiro- χειρο- “made with” hand- “praktikós πρακτικός”) is a method of interfering with the spine, bones and muscles in order to regulate the nervous system.

The general goal is to eliminate the alterations that are thought to exist in the spine.

Kinesiology, which is the control of energy flow in moving muscles, is a science that includes many effective eastern and western techniques such as acupuncture and chiropractic.

Thanks to this branch of science, energy blockages in the body are revealed with the help of various muscle movements.

You can have a feeling worse after kinesiology.

You can find detailed information about the reasons for this in our post.

Brief Information About Kinesiology Science

Kinesiology considers five main methods to examine movements that occur in normal and pathological states. These methods can be listed as follows:

  • anatomical
  • biomechanical
  • physiological
  • psychological
  • socio-cultural

Kinesiology; It brings together the sciences of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, physics and geometry, and draws mainly on mechanical principles, musculoskeletal anatomy, and neuromuscular physiology.

Mechanical principles that are directly related to the human body are also among the topics of biomechanics.

Kinesiology was founded in the 1960s by the American cryptor, Dr. Developed by George Goodheart.

In his view, muscular balance is an important prerequisite for the correct functioning of all organs.

Each muscle is associated with a wheel and certain organs.

Therefore, a fatigue in the muscles may be a symptom of an energy blockage, and thus fatigue, concentration disorders and psychosomatic complaints may appear.

According to Goodheart, it corresponds to each muscle in the body and to the opposite muscle.

Accordingly, the resolution of contractions and cramps in a muscle can only be possible by strengthening the opposite muscle of that muscle.

Over the years, with the addition of other techniques, it has developed a treatment method called applied kinesiology.

The kinesiology practitioner applies gentle pressure on various muscles.

Normally working muscles can withstand this applied pressure, while the muscles that suffer from lack of energy respond to this pressure.

Thus, energy blockages in the body are revealed.

In order to overcome the energy blockages that occur in the body, massages are applied to certain reflex points and relaxation techniques are used.

Application areas of Kinesiology

  • Back pain,
  • Obesity,
  • Migraine,
  • Muscle cramps,
  • Allergies,
  • Digestive disorders,
  • Depression,
  • Anxiety,
  • Concentration disorders,
  • Thinking difficulties,
  • Exam stress,

In other words, kinesio tapes have to reduce muscle pain, prevent muscle cramps and spasms, ensure rapid recovery of deformed muscles, prevent squeezing and burning during performance, maintaining mobility in case of a possible injury, and have limited movement from professional athletes to amateur athletes.

It is used to support remaining muscle groups, strengthen weak muscles and increase muscle strength.

Kinesiology tapes are not only used for sports activities of adults.

It can be used in other people on the advice of a doctor.

And we will talk about feeling worse after kinesiology.

What is the reason of feeling worse after kinesiology? Or can I have a feeling worse after kinesiology? Could my feeling worse after kinesiology have something to do with kinesiology tapes?

What muscle conditions can kinesiology tapes be used for?

  • Tenditis, Arthritis, Bursitis
  • Sports Injuries
  • Edema and Burn
  • Muscle tightness and pain
  • Back and neck pain
  • Muscle weakness and imbalances
  • Physical therapy

Benefits of Kinesiology Tape

The list of kinesiology tape benefits is very wide and diverse, it has gotten the nickname “magic tape”.

It is not surprising that it has become one of the most widely used treatment modalities in both athletic and healthcare settings.

The physical benefits of kinesiology tape include:

Although it contains no drugs or topical substances, kinesiology tape can effectively relieve both acute and chronic pain. Its elasticity gently lifts the skin, which immediately reduces the pressure on sensitive pain receptors.

Additionally, its stimulating effect on pain pathways provides a competitive stimulus that blocks pain signals to the brain.

It Keeps Injured Athletes Active

This is one of the major benefits of kinesiology taping for competitive athletes.

Depending on how it is applied, kinesiology tape can prevent either overloading or excessive contraction of injured muscles.

Combined with its pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties, this can allow athletes to continue training or racing as their injuries heal.

Supports Injured Muscles and Joints Without Restricting Range of Motion

The unique elastic properties and application techniques of kinesiology tape allow it to provide support to injured muscles or joints without restricting range of motion.

Improves Strength and Muscle Tone in Weak or Poorly Toned Muscles

Some neurological or muscular conditions can make muscles so weak that it is almost impossible to do exercises that are critical to improving daily functioning.

Kinesiology tape not only provides support to these muscles, but also increases muscle activation, allowing therapeutic exercises to be performed more effectively.

Recovery of excessive muscles

It contains byproducts of exercise that contribute to tired, excessive muscles, pain and stiffness and limit the ability to continue exercising.

When kinesiology tape is used on these areas, the greater removal of these by-products allows for faster recovery.

Combined with better delivery of oxygen through improved blood flow, this can translate into improved performance in an endurance event or a more complete recovery between repetitive, high-intensity events.

How to Use Kinesiology Tape

If you do not apply kinesiological tapes properly, you can have a feeling worse after kinesiology.

We will show you step by step.

There are steps that are for all kinesiological tapes.

But some steps will be different.

Because some steps depend on why and for what area you will use these tapes.

Step 1- Apply a test strip

Some people may experience an allergic reaction to kinesiology tape.

As a result, you should apply a small test strip for up to 24 hours before applying the tape fully.

If you do not apply, you can have a feeling worse after kinesiology.

If skin irritation such as a rash occurs, remove the tape immediately.

STEP 1.1- REMOVE EXCESS SKIN HAIR: The small amount of body hair should not affect the adhesion of the tape. However, excessive amounts of hair can make it difficult for the tape to adhere to the skin.

Trim excess hair close to the body. This will also make removal less painful.

STEP 1.2-CLEAN the SKIN before TAPING: Before applying kinesiology tape to the skin, you need to make sure the area is clean and free of any oils or lotions.

Before applying the tape, wash your skin with soap and water or alcohol.

STEP 1.3-LET the AREA DRY COMPLETELY: Once the skin is cleansed, make sure it is completely dry before applying the tape.

Moisture can affect the adhesion of the tape.

If you are applying kinesiology tape after exercise, make sure your body is no longer sweating.

You can dry your skin using a clean towel.

STEP 1.4-APPLY TAPE ONE HOUR before ATHLETIC ACTIVITY: Kinesiology tape needs time to adhere to the skin.

As a result, you should wait at least one hour after tapping your skin before starting any physical activity that can cause sweating.

Similarly, you should avoid swimming and showering within the first hour after applying the patch.

Step 2- Kinesiology Tape Application

Tap the area according to your physiotherapist’s instructions.

There are several different ways to apply kinesiology tape, and these typically depend on the size of the muscle affected and the results sought.

You should visit a medical professional such as a physical therapist or physical therapist to learn the proper tension and alignment that should be used to tap your own muscle.

STEP 2.1- CUT the REQUIRED AMOUNT of TAPE: Kinesiology tape can come in a continuous roll or pre-cut strips.

If you are using a roll of kinesiology tape, loosen and cut the amount of tape you need.

Then cut the corners with scissors and round the ends of the tape.

This will help prevent the tape from fraying and peeling at the ends. If you are using pre-cut strips, tear the strips along the serrated edge.

STEP 2.2- BEND ALL JOINTS before APPLYING the TAPE: If you are applying kinesiology tape to a joint such as a knee or elbow, you should always start the joint in a bent position.

If the tape is applied to a knee or elbow in an extended position, the tape will come off when you start moving.

STEP 2.3- APPLY an ANCHOR to the SKIN: Separate the backing 2-3 inches (5-7.5 cm) from the end of the tape to form an anchor. This part will be applied directly to the skin. It is important not to stretch this part of the tape.

If you stretch the fastening portion of the tape, it may cause the tape to peel off and the application will be less effective.

STEP 2.4- STRETCH the TAPE ACROSS the SKIN: After attaching the tape to the skin, you can begin to stretch the tape across the desired muscle.

The amount of stretch you use will depend on the type of treatment. For example, if you want to stimulate a muscle that is trying to perform, you should use 15% – 50% stretch. This will reduce muscle soreness and tension.

STEP 2.5- PEEL the BACKING from the TAPE in SMALL PIECES: This can be done by holding the tape in the middle and gently tearing and pulling the paper backing.

If you remove all the backing at once, the tape may stick by itself and ruin the application.

Avoid touching the adhesive. This can affect the adhesion of the tape and cause the tape to peel off from the skin.

STEP 2.6- ATTACH the TIP of the TAPE to the SKIN: The last 2-3 inches (5-7.5 cm) of tape should be attached to the skin without stretching the tape.

Avoid sticking the tape to another piece of tape. This does not hold and may cause the ends to roll.

STEP 2.7- RUB the TAPE from the CENTER to the ENDS: Once the tape has been applied to the skin, you want to activate the tape and ensure that the skin does not peel off. Use your hands to rub the tape from the center to the ends. This will help the tape to adhere to the skin.

STEP 2.8- CUT the PEELİNG ENDS with SCİSSORS: If at some point the ends of the tape begin to peel off, you can easily cut the peel off using a pair of scissors. Press the remaining ends of the tape down so that no further peeling occurs.

You also need to know how to remove the kinesiological tapes. If you do not know, you can have a feeling worse after kinesiology.

You may feel worse after a kinesiology session. The main reasons for this may be emotional changes, allergic reactions and skin sensitivity.

Now we will talk more detailed about the reasons of feeling worse after kinesiology. After kinesiology, you can feel better and more energetic, and you can have a feeling worse after kinesiology. However, in this post we will talk about reasons of a feeling worse after kinesiology. Because people are more worried about it. There are several different ways your body can respond when you start releasing stress and clearing up some of the blockages in your energy systems. It is practically difficult to foresee how every individual will feel after treatment, however there are some common encounters I might want to impart to you:

FIRST REASON OF a FEELING WORSE AFTER KINESIOLOGY: A few group may start to feel tired, passionate, or exhausted after a meeting, however they feel incredible in the days to follow. Basically, kinesiology works with an individual’s emotional imbalance.

A session helps to release these feelings, creates a sharp change in the way of thinking, and this can result in a feeling of anxiety for a few days, the person adapts to a new way of thinking and feeling. This is one of the reason for feeling worse after kinesiology.

SECOND REASON OF A FEELING WORSE AFTER KINESIOLOGY: Skin Sensitivity– Here, if you are applying to sensitive skin cosmetics, Kinesiology tapes are not for you. Sensitive skin may be irritated by sticky materials. Both can be easily torn off.

If you notice a red color on your skin or feel irritated after removing the tape, your skin may not be suitable for this treatment. This is one of the reason for feeling worse after kinesiology.

THIRD REASON OF a FEELING WORSE AFTER KINESIOLOGY: Allergic Reactions– In spite of the fact that Kinesiology tape doesn’t contain any destructive components, it can make your body respond against it in case you’re adversely affected by cements. On the off chance that you feel torment in the wake of eliminating the tape, or if your skin felt bothersome, it’s presumably an allergic response.

Allergic reactions can be mild or severe. Mild allergic reactions are usually treated with medication. However, if the allergic reaction is severe, you must inform your doctor. This is one of the reason for feeling worse after kinesiology.

Of course, there may be other reasons of feeling worse after kinesiology. You can find out what other reasons of feeling worse after kinesiology are after consulting your doctor.
